The Finnish Federation of Dental Hygienists 052

Your membership fee is 1.1 %

  • of employment income subject to income tax (including holiday compensation, holiday bonuses and fringe benefits, such as lunch, car and phone benefits, and so-called severance packages if your employment is terminated)
  • of adult education allowance
  • of benefits paid by the unemployment fund (Erko collects automatically. Remember to update your information.)
  • however, the lowest possible fee is EUR 8 per month (from 1 January 2021 onwards)

If you have several employers, you pay the membership fee from all your earned incomes.

The membership fee is not collected from bonuses, options, merit pay, per diem allowances, kilometre allowances or part-time entrepreneurship income.

The percentual membership fee is also collected from the benefits paid by an unemployment fund. The Unemployment Fund for Higher Educated Employees Erko deducts the membership fee automatically from the benefits that it pays. Let us know if you apply for a benefit from Erko.
