1. Choose an organisation based on your education or work duties.
Get to know the 22 member organisations of Akava Special Branches and choose the one that suits you best. All our members are members of both one of our organisations and the union. You can become a member of Akava Special Branches already while studying.
2. Fill in the membership application.
3. Send your membership application to Akava Special Branches.
The union will deliver your application to the organisation whose membership you are seeking. Your membership will begin from the day onwards when your application arrives at Akava Special Branches, unless you have requested that your membership starts on some other date.
Your membership application will be handled in the union, after which you will receive information on the acceptance of your membership and other membership material. You will receive a confirmation of your membership within a few weeks.
