Shop steward support in universities and universities of applied sciences

The shop steward works with JUKO’s or YTN’s mandate

In universities, the members of Akava Special Branches’ member organisations are represented by the shop stewards of the Negotiation Organisation for Public Sector Professionals JUKO.

In universities of applied sciences, the members of Akava Special Branches’ member organisations are represented by the shop stewards of the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff YTN.

The shop steward helps in matters related to the employment relationship and only represents those who are members of the union.
