Akava Special Branches comprises 24 member organisations that represent the views and goals of different professions and fields of education. The member organisations advocate for the interests of their members, create professional solidarity, and promote the respect and expertise of their field. You can join most of the member organisations even if you are still a student.

As a multidisciplinary union, we have an in-depth understanding of the goals and challenges of the members of our member organisations. Thanks to our extensive expertise, we are able to successfully advocate for the issues we promote.

The membership fee is determined by the member organisation. Detailed information on membership fees is provided on each member organisation’s website. The membership fee of a trade union is tax deductible.
